Corsair Vengeance K90 MMO Gaming Keyboard
This Keyboard Means Business!!
I had never really considered Corsair as a big player in the gaming peripherals community till I came across this gaming keyboard! With it's sleek brushed aluminium look it is easy to tell this gaming keyboard is all business, no frills, no gimmicks, just gaming awesomeness!!
First Impressions"Sharp looks and mechanical switches... Awesome!!"
I discovered that Corsair has been a frontrunner when it comes to gaming peripherals for the last few years, and with its gaming keyboard the Vengeance K90 Performance MMO Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, it scores mass kudos points for being one of the best gaming keyboards money can buy. The main thing that sticks out for me is the way the back lighting looks on the sharply contrasted black keys on the aluminium background. This gaming keyboard is not as flashy as some of the others I have reviewed here on bestgamingkeyboardshq.com, but if you want a keyboard that is a little more conservative and still packs a punch, this is the keyboard for you.

Features and Customization options
This is a beautifully designed keyboard, made from industrial grade brushed aluminium. The added weight gives it a solid feel and the black keys, along with the colored back lighting makes this gaming keyboard very nice on the eyes. The adjustable back lighting allows for greater visibility under all conditions, and the levels of the back lighting are adjustable too. I should mention that the colors are not adjustable, but so far that is my only complaint. Other control options include a volume-adjustment roller knob, media control buttons, four buttons for recording and deploying macros and the Windows lock button.
The Cherry MX mechanical switches are used under the standard keyboard, arrow keys and k10 keypad. They offer better performance, a solid typing feel and an overall longer life. Corsair used silicone dome switches under the function keys and macro buttons. They may not have the same feel, but offer better accuracy and smooth performance. The Corsair Vengeance K90 gaming keyboard connects to your gaming PC via a USB 2.0 port; it also has a USB port on the keyboard, allowing you to connect a mouse or any storage peripheral like a flash drive to the system.
The detachable palm rest ensures that gamers can play their games for extended periods of time without having to worry about the numb fingers and sore wrists. There is a pattern of dot dimples on the surface of the soft touch finish palm rest, which adds to the overall style and comfort of the gaming keyboard. Another thing I feel I should mention here is the feel of the keys, they have a very nice matte finish on them...and not only does that add to the overall look of the gaming keyboard, but they just feel good!!
There is no doubt that this keyboard was built specifically for gamers. Every part and button on it seems designed with the gamer in mind. This keyboard supports true anti-ghosting, which means any combination of keys can be pressed simultaneously with no problems. The Windows lock key which disables unwanted shortcut functions so you will not exit out of your game when you are playing, works as expected. The macros can be programmed quite easily on this gaming keyboard. There is a macro-record button on the keyboard that you press to begin recording a macro, then to end the recording and save the macro combo/function, simply press the MR button again. Super simple. Each one of the 18 macro buttons can also be set with 3 separate sets of macro-banks, which is selected with the M1, M2 and M3 buttons. So, you are able to have 54 macro combinations recorded and and available for use in this device at one time.
